You can request deletion of your WA Portal account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains what will be deleted, how long it takes, and how to submit a request.
What gets deleted
- Your account profile (name, email, authentication credentials).
- Connected WhatsApp Business Account tokens and configuration held by WA Portal.
- Contacts, message templates, and message history stored in WA Portal.
- Usage logs tied to your account, except where retention is required by law.
What is not deleted
Data held by Meta Platforms, Inc. within WhatsApp Business infrastructure is governed by Meta's policies. To delete that data, follow Meta's instructions in your WhatsApp Business Manager.
We may retain limited records (such as billing history) where required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
How to request deletion
Email admin@chiselbyte.com from the address registered on your account with the subject line "Delete my account". Include:
- The email address on your WA Portal account.
- The WhatsApp Business phone number(s) connected to the account, if any.
Timeline
We will confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements.
